Bệnh ghẻ trên lợn tuy rất ít xuất hiện nhưng một khi đã mắc ghẻ ở chuồng trại thì lại tồn tại rất lâu và làm giảm năng xuất chăn nuôi cũng như làm giảm hiệu quả kinh tế của người chăn nuôi. Dưới đây là một số nguyên nhân gây bệnh cũng như cách phòng tránh và chữa căn bệnh ghẻ trên lợn.

Nguyên nhân gây bệnh

Bệnh do con ghẻ gây ra, con ghẻ rất bé. Con đực dài 0,200 – 0,350mm; con cái dài 0,350 – 0,500mm, tuỳ loài, màu xám bóng, vàng nhạt, thân hình bầu dục hay tròn, chân có 4 đuôi, mỗi chân có 5 đốt.

Vòng đời: Ghẻ ngầm xâm nhập vào lớp da rồi đào hàng lấy dịch tế bào làm chất dinh dưỡng. Con cái đẻ trứng, mỗi ngày đẻ 1-2 quả và đẻ kéo dài liên tục 4-5 tuần, trứng phát dục thành ghẻ trưởng thành mất 8-15 ngày. Khi gặp điều kiện thuận lợi, một con cái trong vòng 3 tháng có thể sinh ra được 1,5 triệu trứng (qua 6 đời). Trứng sau khi nở 3-4 ngày biến thành ấu trùng 6 chân, sau 3 – 4 ngày lột xác thành thiếu trùng 8 chân, thiếu trùng qua 3 lần lột xác thành ghẻ trưởng thành. Bệnh lây truyền do tiếp xúc trực tiếp hay dụng cụ hoặc quần áo của người quản lý, chăn nuôi.

Xác định triệu chứng lâm sàng

Chủ yếu là do con vật ngứa, rụng lông, và đóng vây.

Thời kỳ đầu: Ngứa do ghẻ tiết nước bọt làm mềm da để dễ đào hang, trong nước bọt có chất độc kích thích gây ngứa ngáy, cọ xát chảy máu và hình thành những mụn, lúc đầu nhỏ về sau dần dần mọng nước, ta thường gọi là mụn ghẻ.

Thời kỳ 2: Rụng lông do con ghẻ vào gốc lông, đào hang làm cho chân lông thoái hoá, dẫn đến rụng; lông rụng nhiều hay ít phụ thuộc vào bệnh nặng hay nhẹ, có khi rụng thành từng đám, có khi cả toàn thân.

Thời kỳ 3: Đóng vây do con vật cọ xát vào thành chuồng làm các mụn nước vỡ ra, khô lại, trên da hình thành những mảnh vây khô. Sau 5 – 6 tháng da con vật hoàn toàn trơ trụi lông, dày và nhăn nheo. Bệnh phát triển nhanh và lây lan mạnh và chẳng bao lâu cả đàn bị bệnh ghẻ, vật gầy còm làm ảnh hưởng rất nhiều tới năng suất

Chẩn đoán bệnh

Chủ yếu dựa vào triệu chứng lâm sàng đã nêu ở 3 thời kỳ trên.

Xử lý đàn heo bệnh

Tắm xà phòng nước ấm trước khi bôi thuốc, tránh không để cái ghẻ rơi ra xung quanh, phải chữa lần thứ 2, thứ 3 thì cái ghẻ mới chết hết; chữa thí nghiệm trước khi chữa diện rộng.

  • Dạng tiêm: Ivermectin hoặc doramectin liều 0,3 mg/kgP.
  • Dạng mỡ thoa trên da như Sebacil (Thoa dọc theo sống lưng heo).
  • Dạng phun, tắm như: Taktic (Amitraz) 1ml/lít nước phun trên mình heo
  • Tiêm thêm cho heo vitamin ADE.
  • Xử lý môi trường chăn nuôi heo
  • Cọ rửa toàn bộ chuồng trại sạch sẽ. Phun thuốc fibronil lên thành chuồng, nền chuồng

Phòng bệnh

Giữ chuồng trại sạch sẽ, heo mới mua nên nhốt riêng kiểm tra ghẻ trước khi nhập bầy.
