Antibiotic resistance is a pressing global health concern, demanding urgent attention. In response, four One Health clubs affiliated with the Vietnam One Health Network of Universities (VOHUN) in Hanoi, namely #VNUA_OH, #HMU_OH, #HUPH_OH, and #PKA_OH, have collaboratively organized a series of events with the theme “The Reality of Antibiotics Used in Livestock and Their Consequences.”
This series of events features the participation of experts from various fields, including veterinary medicine, human medicine, and the environment, all of whom are well-versed in antibiotic resistance. The first seminar of this series, titled “The Reality of Antibiotics Used in Livestock and Their Consequences,” boasts three esteemed speakers:
- Dr. Truong Ha Thai (Vietnam National University of Agriculture): Dr. Thai serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and holds the position of Director of Investment Development and Service at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture Company Limited.
- Dr. Nguyen Hong Minh (Phenikaa University): Dr. Minh is the Director of the Center for Research on Genetic Resources and leads the Applied Microbiology and Genetic Engineering Group.
- Dr. Hoang Thi Hai Van (Hanoi Medical University): Dr. Van is the Head of the Global Health Department at the Institute for Preventive and Public Health, as well as the Center for Training and Research on Substance Abuse at Hanoi Medical University.

By equipping attendees with such crucial insights, the workshops strive to contribute to the collective efforts in addressing the challenges
