Bệnh suy giảm bạch cầu lây lan nhanh chóng khi mèo tiếp xúc với dịch tiết của mầm bệnh. Do đó cần phải tích cực điều trị nhanh chóng. Trường hợp nặng có thể gây tử vong chỉ sau 24 giờ.
- Bệnh viêm kết mạc mắt do Chlamydia – 4 bệnh truyền nhiễm ở mèo
Bệnh viêm kết mạc mắt do vi sinh nội bào Chlamydia gây ra, triệu chứng của bệnh rất ít, khó phân biệt, có các dấu hiệu như chảy nước mắt, màng mắt đỏ, có dịch nhày, viêm kết mạc nhanh …
Nguyên nhân lây truyền bệnh là do ăn thức ăn có nhiễm Chlamydia, lây nhiễm trực tiếp từ mèo bệnh. Do đó, chủ nuôi cần phát hiện và điều trị kịp thời.
- Lịch tiêm phòng vắc xin cho mèo con và mèo trưởng thành
Mèo con có lịch chích ngừa vắc xin 4 bệnh trên mèo:
- Mũi tiêm đầu tiên của vắc xin 4 bệnh: từ 6 – 8 tuần tuổi
- Mũi tiêm thứ 2 tiêm nhắc lại cho mèo con từ: 9 – 11 tuần tuổi
- Mũi tiêm thứ 3 tiêm nhắc lại cho mèo con từ: 13 – 15 tuần tuổi
Sau khi tiêm đủ trong năm đầu tiên của mèo con. Các năm tiếp theo bạn chỉ tiêm nhắc lại 1 lần mũi 4 bệnh.
Lưu ý: Vắc xin phòng bệnh dại chỉ tiêm được khi mèo con đạt từ 3 tháng tuổi trở lên. Và cũng tiêm nhắc lặp lại mỗi năm 1 lần.
- Lịch tẩy giun cho mèo
Từ 1,5 tháng tuổi trở đi mèo con bắt đầu tìm tòi khám phá môi trường xung quanh nên dễ nhiễm giun sán. Do đó, chủ mèo cần lưu ý tẩy giun sán cho mèo:
- Đối với mèo dưới 6 tháng tuổi: tẩy giun mỗi tháng/lần.
- Mèo từ 6 tháng tuổi trở lên tẩy giun 4 tháng/lần.
Kết hợp với lịch tiêm phòng cho mèo con để đảm bảo sức khỏe. Bạn nên tẩy giun cách 1 tuần trước hoặc sau ngày tiêm.
