The 7th IEEE/ACIS International Conference on Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Data Science Engineering (BCD, 2022) will take place in Da Nang, Vietnam, in August. The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary research in the fields of Metaverse, Blockchain, AI, and Big Data. This marks the first time the BCD conference is being held in Vietnam, providing an excellent chance for researchers to delve into Metaverse-related topics.

Metaverse is a vast domain encompassing Blockchain, AI, Big Data, Cloud computing, Human-machine interface, hardware, AR/VR, social networking, digital transformation, and the digital economy. It offers an exciting opportunity to explore, discuss, and update knowledge in these cutting-edge areas.

Emotional AI involves utilizing affective computing and artificial intelligence to identify, imitate, and respond to human emotional behavior. On the other hand, the Metaverse is an emerging concept that fuses the physical world with virtual reality, enabling individuals to experience virtual scenarios and interact with others or AI entities within an entirely virtual environment. With the rapid advancements in extended reality, intelligent displays, user interactivity, computer graphics, communication networks, and emotional AI technologies, the Metaverse has become increasingly accessible and engaging for users.

The Metaverse has garnered significant attention and interest across various technology fields as a cutting-edge research topic. However, developing a flawless Metaverse system that delivers exceptional experiences and effectively bridges the gap between the physical and virtual realms remains a challenging task. Factors such as the quality of Metaverse content, the devices used to access it, and the interactions between humans and machines significantly impact the perceived Quality of Experience (QoE) within the Metaverse. Submission Schedule

1. Full paper submission (within 5~6 pages): before May 1, 2022 (can be extended by 1-2 weeks)
2. Abstract and paper list submission (within 200 words): before April 1, 2022
3. Final paper submission with modifications (if any): before June 1, 2022
