Nguyên nhân gây bệnh viêm da ở chó

Bệnh viêm da ở chó là hiện tượng da chó bị nhiễm khuẩn, viêm mủ da. Bệnh xuất phát từ các chủng vi khuẩn, vi trùng như Sacroptes, Demodex canis, Otodectes cynotis… Chúng thường nằm sâu trong da chó, hút chất dinh dưỡng làm ngứa ngáy khó chịu, tiết độc tố gây dị ứng cho chó. Các loại ngoại ký sinh như ve, ghẻ, bọ chét, gầu ký sinh trên lông chó. Hoặc là do chó dị ứng bụi, lông, thuốc, xà phòng, chó bị nhiễm trùng vết thương. Cũng có thể là bệnh do di truyền.

Cách thức lây bệnh viêm da ở chó

  • Nếu chó mẹ bị viêm da thì sẽ lây sang chó con trong giai đoạn bú sữa.
  • Chó khỏe mạnh cũng sẽ bị lây viêm da khi chúng thường xuyên tiếp xúc với nhau.
  • Chó bị viêm da lây nhiễm bệnh từ môi trường chuồng ở, chỗ nằm, sân chơi.

Triệu chứng của bệnh viêm da ở chó

  • Bệnh viêm da ở chó thường bị tổn thương ở các vùng đầu, chân, quanh mắt, mặt và hậu môn. Chó có triệu chứng ngứa, cào cấu, cắn và gây tổn thương ở các vùng này.
  • Ban đầu chỉ viêm da cục bộ (khoảng nhỏ). Nếu không có biện pháp điều trị kịp thời, lâu ngày sẽ có mủ, viêm lan toàn thân gây mùi hôi khó chịu.
  • Chó bị rụng lông, da mẩn đỏ, dày lên có vảy khô. Sau đó, bệnh phát nặng gây chảy dịch vàng, có mủ trắng. Điều này là do nhiễm trùng kế phát của vi khuẩn Staphylococus.

Điều trị bệnh viêm da ở chó

Để điều trị được căn bệnh viêm da ở chó, đầu tiên bạn cần phải xác định nguyên nhân gây bệnh cho chó.

Vạch lông kiểm tra kỹ lông chó xem có phát hiện các loại ký sinh trùng ẩn trong lông chó như ve rận, bọ chét, gầu… để tiêu diệt các loại ký sinh trùng hút máu ra khỏi cơ thể của chó.

Trường hợp kiểm tra không thấy các loại ngoại ký sinh ẩn trong lông chó nhưng da chó vẫn sần sùi. Bạn cần cạo hết vùng lông bị viêm nhiễm. Sau đó, dùng bông thấm thuốc sát trùng (Iod, Cồn 700, Oxy già) để lau sạch mủ.

Chú ý chỉ lau từng đám da nhỏ bị viêm nhiễm. Không nên đổ thuốc sát trùng lên khắp vùng da vì có thể làm mủ lan ra rộng hơn. Da chó có thể bị nóng, bỏng, ngộ độc thuốc sát trùng.

Bạn có thể tìm mua ở tiệm thuốc thú y loại thuốc Vimectin 0,1 % hoặc Bivermectin 0,1% . Sau đó, tiêm cho chó theo hướng dẫn trong đơn thuốc.

Với các giống chó nhạy cảm với thuốc Bivermectin như: Collie, Australian Sheepdog, Bobtail, Shetland Sheepdog, Whippet lông dài thì không sử dụng.

Sử dụng thuốc hỗ trợ bio-vitamin AD3E, Bio-metasal hoặc ADE.B complex 1ml/10kg cho cún mau lành bệnh. Kết hợp bôi thuốc trị ghẻ nấm chó.

Cách phòng tránh bệnh viêm da ở chó

  • Thường xuyên tắm rửa, vệ sinh chó bằng loại sữa tắm, xà phòng, dầu tắm dành cho chó.
  • Bạn cần vệ sinh nơi ở cho cún. Hãy đảm bảo rằng xung quanh chúng luôn sạch sẽ: chăn nệm, chuồng trại, lồng, nhà cho chó…
  • Dùng thuốc diệt bọ chó Vime-Frondog (sử dụng lặp lại sau 2 tháng),FAY Power.
  • Bạn cần cách ly điểu trị chó có dấu hiệu bị viêm da với chó khỏe mạnh ngay khi phát hiện để tránh lây sang các chú cún khác.
